En Alberta classe 1 restrictif pour ceux qui passe leur permis avec une transmission automatique.
Peut-être que cela sera une norme à la grandeur du pays
Alberta drivers who use automated transmissions on road test will soon be restricted
EDMONTON, Alta. -- Alberta drivers who take their Class 1, 2 or 3 road test with a truck equipped with an automated transmission will be restricted to operating vehicles with automated or automatic transmissions effective Dec. 1, Trucknews.com has learned.
Drivers who pass their Class 1, 2 or 3 road test with a manual transmission-equipped vehicle will not be restricted.
Alberta defines an automated transmission as one where “the transmission manufacturer’s operating instructions indicate that the driver does not need to use a clutch to shift gears except for starting off and stopping” and/or “the transmission automatically shifts gears without the driver having to move a gear shift lever.”
So in other words, Eaton’s AutoShift three-pedal transmission understandably qualifies as an automated transmission.
