My 2017 Mercedes E-Class has been acting up lately and I'm pretty sure the battery is the culprit. The stop-start system has been getting a bit sluggish, and I've noticed the interior lights dimming a bit when I first start the car, which I know can be a sign that the battery is losing its capacity. I've been reading up on the issue and apparently Mercedes batteries need to be properly registered with the car's computer system when they're replaced, otherwise the car won't charge them correctly and they'll fail prematurely. I'm based near Industrial Area 11 in Sharjah and I'm looking for a workshop that actually knows what they're doing with these cars, not just a general garage that'll throw any battery in and hope for the best. I'd really like to find Mercedes car battery fitting near Industrial Area 11 by a Best workshop because I've heard there are some specialists in the area that deal specifically with German cars. A friend mentioned there's a place called something like Al Serkal that does good work, but I'm not sure exactly where it is or if they're still around. Has anyone here had their Mercedes battery replaced at a workshop in that area recently? I'm especially interested in whether they used the right AGM battery and properly coded it to the car's system. Also curious what kind of price I should expect for a quality battery fitted - I don't want to overpay but I also don't want to cheap out and end up with electrical issues down the line. Appreciate any suggestions.
