alright so this has been bugging me for like two weeks now and i finally caved and decided to ask here instead of just googling random symptoms at 1am like i've been doing. my charger just hit around 80k km and recently whenever i really get on the gas, like merging onto the highway or just flooring it for fun which i'll admit i do more than i should, there's this moment where the rpm climbs up a bit too fast before the transmission actually catches and puts power down, almost like a slight slip before it grabs properly. doesn't happen at all during normal driving, only when i'm really pushing it, which honestly made me ignore it longer than i probably should have since it's easy to just not floor it and pretend the problem doesn't exist lol. my cousin has a challenger and said his did something kind of similar around similar mileage and it ended up being a transmission fluid and filter situation that got resolved without anything too crazy, but he was also quick to say every case is different and i shouldn't just assume mine is the same fix without actually getting it looked at properly first. i live close enough to industrial area 10 that i started looking at options in that area specifically instead of driving further out, and stumbled onto some info about premium dodge gearbox repair in industrial area 10 sharjah that seemed to actually specialize in these american muscle car transmissions rather than just general repair work, which felt like a good sign since i know these aren't exactly common cars to see around here compared to the usual german and japanese stuff everyone drives. anyone else own a charger or challenger and dealt with this exact slip under hard acceleration thing, and if so did it end up being something simple or did it turn into a bigger repair once someone actually got into diagnosing it. kind of hoping for the simple answer here not gonna lie but trying to prepare myself either way before i actually book something in
